ABOUT ME

Understanding people is the one thing I like most of all in this world. That is exactly why I came to study linguistics: people are supposed to get to understand each other using language, right? ^^My first foreign language is Chinese (i've been learning it for 6 years now), it's become a big part of my life ever since, and i love it! When you learn it you feel a little bit like learning an other planet language ^^ I like chinese ... well, chinese everything -_- Now I'm a grad student in Russia. My research is about evolution of words' meanings from ancient to modern chinese.I like music very much and can't imagine my life without it. I also admire Nature: i can just sit at the sea shore or at the river bank or in the middle of a forest and be happy just about being there.I think trees are the most beautiful thing on earth ^^ And the ocean. And mountains.

SharingI think it's kind of hard to tell what I can teach you. You just never realize what you can teach until you try, right? So let us figure this out together! And well, I can tell you something about languages, that's for sure.LearningI would like to learn anything one wants to teach me, for I think the best way learning things is to learn it from a person who really likes it. One of my main interests is learning languages. Learning a new language is somehow like becoming another person for a moment or observing the world from another point of view. I am also looking for some inspiration in healthy lifestyle and yoga (I've been doing my practice regularly before, but now I'm not -- can't figure out why -_-) Also, I'm always willing to dance and share my dancing experience -- I've been into swing dancing for two years already, and once that thing gets you, you can never quit.I like to learn how to sing traditional songs of all over the world -- it's one of those things you won't ever learn without having someone to teach you! Children songs also count as traditional, btw. )Of course, I want to learn a lot about different cultures and to learn how to cook traditional food of all over the world!Oh, and my latest dream is to learn how to swim properly -_-
