Overview
About Me
My name is Xendon Cross, I know, crazy name right! My parents made it up. I am a 25-years old. I was born and raised in California, USA. I have two awesome hippy parents and one younger brother that I love more than anything in this world (the guy who looks way older than me in my photos). In college, I studied online marketing and social media advertising. I am really passionate about fitness and am a licensed Personal Trainer. I am very clean and punctual, I plan everything. I bought all my flights and travel plans for this year abroad 6-months in advance! In San Francisco, I worked in a start-up doing SEO marketing and as a personal trainer/wellness consultant for the top club in the city-Equinox. After COMPLETELY burning myself out working in SF, unhappy and struggling, I decided to do a full year abroad-so here I am. Currently, I have traveled Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Bali. While traveling, I run a travel photography Instagram (@XendonCross) and am currently working on setting up a personal website for my journey. As a kid, I never got to travel internationally, so this is my first time abroad. Solo-traveling has completely changed my life. I am so grateful to meet new people, hear their stories, and learn new things through experience. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I like things that challenge me and make me nervous. I think that's why I love traveling so much. My dream is to own an international lifestyle brand that provides some type of positive impact towards the world, and also allows me to live a healthy/balanced lifestyle. Things I don't like: Seafood, Donald Trump, Things that require a battery that isn't size AA, Facebook, and never-ending routine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing for two main reasons: to meet new people/make friends to share experiences with (especially exploring and adventuring locals viewpoints or locations) and to save money traveling. I am coming from Indonesia, where it is very easy to travel cheaply. I am traveling to Australia next, with a working holiday visa, and will be looking for work! I am very nervous about being able to find work in Australia, and or a place to live and stay with the budget I have remaining. I'm hoping to make friends and connections to make this transition go as smoothly as possible as well as build lasting relationships and friends that will be with me forever.

I am an excellent photographer to accompany you on adventures. I love to go outdoors and outside, so If you are someone who likes to explore or do daring things I will never say no! I have experience at the top sports club in San Francisco as a personal trainer and love working out and sharing my knowledge so I'm always up for a good workout.
