I am from Switzerland and just finished school. Now I have a year to travel and learn about myself and about other places and cultures!

As a student I‘ve been in an exchange year in Peru. There I fell in love with the people and their language, food, culture, customs and the country in general.
Therefore I decided to use my year to visit other countries in latin america and plan to go from Mexiko to Chile. And until now I love it!

In my freetime I love to be in nature. I go hiking and camping frequently and in winter I work as a skiing instructor.
For me nature is really important. For this reason I‘m active in different political movements regarding climate justice and protection.
I play the oboe and other instruments and love music and different kinds of art.
I also watch tons of documentaries and love reading!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to play music. In Switzerland I play the oboe and the piccolo (a small transverse flute that is played at the Carneval where I live). I am in several musical groups and I also used to sing in a choir.
I enjoy visiting different types of concerts and like to get to know new music.

This year I started to read daily and I really enjoy it. I am always happy to get new book recommendations!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you some parts of my culture and for example cook a traditional Swiss meal.
Maybe I could help you with your German or English too.
Of course I could help you with some daily tasks like cooking or cleaning.
