Overview
About Me
I'm very calm and patient with strangers, can't spend much time in a company, and always need a portion of "lonely time" a day. It can be completely different with some people, and I become lively and open so quickly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can't say that I like traveling so much. For me it's more valuable to visit a place and stay there for a while, rather than rushing from capital to capital staying one night in every. I prefer going deeper in details, and explore the area around a place I stay.
And it's obvious that I use Couchsurfing as a cheapest way of traveling, but sometimes as the most comfortable (easier to reach the home of a hosting person than look for a hostel/hotel). However, I would like to use it as a way to meet people who share my interests and could enlarge my knowledge.
Interests
I've been living in Lapland for several months already, near the cultural center of Sami people. Now I'm really enthusiastic of learning about their traditions, lifestyle and language. It makes me think also about visiting Sami areas in 4 countries to compare their ways of living.
I'm obsessed with nature and outdoor activities. I can walk around the forest for hours, but mainly alone, because I never met a person who would like to examine lichens on a rock or tree for a long time.
