About Me

CURRENT MISSION

try to keep the balance

ABOUT ME

I live in the north of Russia in Petrozavodsk town (to Saint Petersburg 450 km).
Work as an English (for small children) and History teacher in college and I really like it! I'm a vegetarian and if you know an interesting recipe that's great. Love yoga and from last winter started doing sport activities and now can't live without running/jumping etc. l've been playing in a folk ensemble on cymbals for almost 6 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lately I was thinking about that despite my town is not so big and popular we still have travelers here. And some of them are that kind of people who want to know a real life of a city. In Petrozavodsk some travelers try to find a place to stay in with Couchserfing. I have a flat with free rooms and now when I'm able I can host people. I remember the opportunities people gave me to stop at their flats when I was traveling. So now I want to do the same thing and if you visit Petrozavodsk ask me, and if I'm there and free you're welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books

Sigur Ros, Damien Rice and сплин (a russian band) are my favorite! But like listening different kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago I met handsome James Blant in Vienna and had a nice talk with him!

My friend and I travelled in Finland by hitchiking. Once we was picked up by two finnish guys who was going from the party and were driving 200 km per hour (it was so crazy because I don't like cars and hight speed)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to draw a bee the easiest way is: draw a circle/oval and make the stripes in it, then draw a face and wings on the top of the circle/oval and finally color the pic with black and yellow. That's it!

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland
