ABOUT ME

Hello dear hosts and travellers :)
I'm a person who decided one day to leave Ural mountains in search of "my own place" in this world. I used to be an Au-Pair in Germany and Switzerland. After that I worked as a volunteer in a hospital in Germany. Now i'm about to finish studying at one of the German universities. During my study I did a couple of exchange projects between Germany and The Netherlands and after one of those I got married to a dutch man and decided to stay. During the last 2,5 years I have been working with people with disabilities and doing some social work also.
At this moment I finally dare to shape my own life philosophy. In the last two years i've learned that a ''comfortable'', ''materailistic'' lifestyle with ''lack of contact with nature'' has not brought me happiness thus far. That's why I wanted to get rid of it...

But if all you know is what you want to get rid of, you won't get far either, right? So I decided to follow my dreams and do something I've been postponing for a long time in the expectation that a better moment would come... My secret wish for quite a long time was to go to Sweden to experience some kind of self-sufficient life and to get closer to nature. So I finally did it and enjoyed it very much ;) I worked with a kennel!

I have a great sense of humor and i guess it is possible to have a fun conversation with anyone from all over the world :) People could seem to be so different but deep inside we all are so similar. It is fascinating...
I like to be active and be in the nature. Also i like veeeery long walks, enigmatic places, feeling of freedom, good books and movies. It can be great to share moments of pleasure with someone who feels things on the similar way!

Couchsurfing gives me the feeling of beeing in the real connection with the world. This is even more great than a large coffee in the morning (my only addiction haha).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I reached Brugge, immigrated to Europe, met and keep meeting veeeeeery nice people, saw Aurora Borealis, slept alone in the forest, saw how the sun go down and up, drove the snowmobile ect. ect. ect.

I like conversations that keep on going! I enjoy company but at the same time I really do respect individual space (I've had some encounters with people who became a little to familliar). If there's an old movie theater you know of, show me! Books you love, tell me!
