I'm a PhD student in anthropology currently doing fieldwork in Salvador, Bahia.

Shy at first, but I open up. I love conversations over wine/beer/coffee and playing music with people. I love sponteneity and adventure. I love the beach. I love fitness - I like to run, rollerblade, bike, do yoga. Also dance. And I'm learning to surf! My work (whether paid or unpaid) is to leave the world better than I found it.

Sou tímida no começo, mas gosto de conhecer novas pessoas. Gosto muito de conversas com café/cerveja/vinho, de tocar música e cantar. Gosto da praia. Gosto de fazer actividade física de quase todo tipo, mas especialmente ao ar livre - corrida, rollerblade, ciclismo, yoga, etc. Também gosto muito de dançar. O meu trabalho neste mundo, eu acho, é de deixar o mundo melhor do que .

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Every time I get to know someone new (couchsurfing or otherwise), I discover something new not only about the person but about myself. If each of us could do this over and over again, imagine how enlightened we'd all be!

Toda vez que eu conheça alguém, descubro alguma coisa nova, não somente sob a pessoa que conheço, mas também sob mim mesma. Se todos nós pudéramos fazer isso muitas vezes, imaginam o iluminados que seríamos!

I've had some amazing couchsurfing experiences with some amazing people! So far I´ve surfed in Portland, Oregon, USA; Cuzco, Peru; Cochabamba, Bolivia; met lovely people in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Brasília, and Salvador da Bahia, Brazil; surfed in São Paulo, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Brazil and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Couchsurfing Project has given me the opportunity to connect with people I never would have come to know otherwise.
