Parent, Artist, Roller Skater, Traveller, Writer. Interested in the world and our shared humanity. I have travelled to 35 plus countries and have lived in Europe and in both North and South America. I enjoy stimulating conversation, great humour, cooking, and exploring different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
VSO International in Guyana 2010 - 2011 (host and guest)
I worked for just under a year as a volunteer and hosted over 10 different volunteers from all over the world in my flat in Georgetown the capital city. I also bunked with volunteers all across the country.
I have hosted at my Sechelt loft with couch surfing and have enjoyed the experience of meeting people this way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading, music and films of most kinds...faves include pop, rock, SOCA, reggae, folk, soul. Books I like good fiction, non fiction, essays, articles, magazines, and art and cartoons (illustrated) books. Films documentaries, comedies, alternative small films, hollywood style comedies and even chick flix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in a 3rd world country as a volunteer working in international development for almost a year.
I lived as an artist in residence in Berlin Germany
I have worked most of my life in the non profit sector.
Lived in the Algarve, London, Califonia, Vancouver, Guyana, Berlin and The Sunshine Coast where I currently reside.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a huge "foodie" and love to cook for and with others.
I run a weekly community kitchen with a non profit organization for persons with disabilites and like to bring guests
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not able to host at moment, as I'm moving but
I know the Sunshine Coast very well, so even if I can't host I can offer information about this beautiful part of the world. Also happy to meet up with like minded travellers
