ABOUT ME

I m a new person since I quit tabbaco, more than four years ago now. I started to run then. ... wow that's so old... I've quit smoking 10 years ago now. And my life is completely different now. First of all, I don't live in my old town, I just moved to Barcelona. I don't have any business to run, and mainly I'm enjoying life for a while (I think after all that hard work I deserve more free time for myself). I'm still running, cause I love it, but my times are worst than before, I guess I'm getting old (or lazy). Anyhow, I'm still the same guy, with the same interest, but living in the city, and of course not so busy.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During all this years I've host people in 3 different apartments, all in Vilanova. I've host people from all around the world, which I love it. I think, I'm a good host, but it's because I love it, like almost all things in life, it's easy to see if u enjoy doing something, right?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a Belgium couch and it was amazing how I enjoyed it. Then I surfed a couch in Prague cause I runed the Prague marathon, I was hosted by Ondra, a really very nice guy. My 3th experience was in Ufa, I will never forget than week with Irina ;) Recently I surfed a couch in Milano, and it was awesome, I really think I was hosted by the best host in compare with my personality, thanks a lot Roberta!!!

I saw la Traviatta in the national opera house in Prague, invited by one of the violinist of the orchestra. CS has no limits, believe it !!!

On my last trip to Madrid it was unforgettable when I saw my host face when I present her a bunch of flowers on a sunday morning, just to say her thanks.

Very nice project. The most amazing thing is that it works !

Two problems experienced with CS :
- The "couchsurfing effect" : the host is working usually, and the guest on holidays. A huge gap sometimes ! Both must realise that the other one is in a completely different state of mind.
- The "wide_invitations effect" : I'm now invited in Ontario, Montreal and Sainte-Hyacinthe (Canada), in Bucharest (Romania), in North Carolina (USA), in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), in Germany, in Tasmania island and Melbourne (Australia), ... Where will I find the time and the money to visit all those great ex-guests and their cities ? And I'm even not talking about the places I want to go to, but I'm not invited (yet) to.

Of course those problems are not negative at all. Who does think that 'problem' is a negative word ?
