ABOUT ME

Hey Im Hannah. Easy going...lots of fun and love to have a good time and getting a bargain!!! I've just finished studying English Literature and German at the University of Sydney and have just bought a one way plane ticket back to Europe!
I've had some amazing experiences both surfing and hosting and I plan to do a lot more of both in the future!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed extensively throughout Europe and met some truly inspirational people on my travels of all ages and from all walks of life. I have also hosted as much as I could in Sydney and have attended local couch surfing events and meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first read about couchsurfing in my Rough Guide to Europe book I thought it was a bit of a crazy idea but I was willing to give it a go. I was traveling by myself for an 6 months and this was a great way to meet people and have an instant group of friends. I absolutely love staying with someone who is a local because the experience is completely different and they have the insider knowledge on the best places to eat, drink and party. Everyone I have told about couch-surfing has been slightly skeptical at first but once they have tried it they love it. I think its an excellent idea and a great way to experience people from all over the world, whether you are traveling or hosting...let the legacy live on couch surfing is the best!!!!!!!!

Let's see I love Jane Austen, D.H Lawrence, Salmon Rushdie, Anthony Trollope are all up there. I grew up on Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl - pretty much anything thats worthwhile reading, plus a whole lot more just for fun :)

I love lots of different types of movies, classics like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Pride and Prejudice, Thelma and Louise
And more contemporary films such as Black Swan, Cold Mountain, Closer, V for Vendetta (pretty much anything with Natalie Portman).

I have walked on a glacier in New Zealand
I have seen giant jelly fish in Thailand
I have canoed in Canada and seen wild moose swimming with their babies on their backs.
I have Couch surfed for the first time in Munich
I have grown up on a farm in Australia
