---------------
2017
I am a law student studying international law. My nationality is Chinese, but I prefer to consider myself a global citizen.
I like travelling, adventures and photography. Taking photos used to be a major activity when I was travelling. Now I am in the process of balancing, as I tried to see and experience more.
I am an animal lover, pescetarianism and an environmentalist. I love animals, love the nature.
Or I am just a common person like everyone else. A curious kid who is excited to explore the world. Life is short, experience and make things happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting people with different values and ways of living, and interested in experiencing different cultures. Couchsurfing is a perfect place which provides opportunities for both.
It's fascinating to talk to people from all over the world and to know their unique cultures. Cultural exchange is definitely one of the best experiences.
I have been making friends on each trip, now I feel these people I met are the best part of travelling.
I also get to know more about myself through all these journeys.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - many, all about literature, philosophy, poems, politics and law.
-The Little Prince: An old lover. What is essential is invisible to the eye. It always reminds me of the philosophy and beauty of simple, to go back to the basics.
-Stories of Sahara: the book that inspires and encourages me to go for adventures, always gives me the courage to step out the comfort zone, to experience the outside world.
-Legitimacy and legality of International law: The new lover! I can finally appreciate and enjoy the beauty of rational thinking and learned to see wicked problems of the world from another angle. Totally interesting!
Movies - many movies that I Iike!
Eat Pray Love: the movie that motivates me to start my journey of solo travelling, where I can experience, think, and know more about myself and the world.
Amélie, Midnuit a Paris, To Kill a Mockingbird, Philadelphia, 12 angry men...etc.
All these books and movies encouraged my curiosity of the unknown, helped me to form my way of thinking and gave me the courage to adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Update: driving an aeroplane is definitely amazing!

So far I think it's the decision I made to leave my home country and come to Europe.
And yeah! I cycled 140K around Qinghai Lake last summer.
