Overview
About Me
Traveling again now, after 7-year disappearance from Couchsurfing.
Just finished 1-year adventure in Southeast Asia. First time visiting the US, excited to explore different cultures in the US.
I like arts, hiking in the nature, all types of sports and getting lost / wandering around without purpose. Also a beginner Argentina tango dancer 💃🏽
Apart from exploring the outside world, I am a meditator exploring the world within spontaneously. I enjoy my life now in slower motion with more awareness, or sometimes, just letting time pass and do nothing at all (especially in winter now).
No alcohol or 🧋:)

2017
Back to work in Shanghai.
Currently obsessed with cooking and weight lifting 🏋🏻♀️. Learning French.
Update: the law-student now is working as a lawyer in Shanghai, China.
---------------
2017
I am a law student studying international law. My nationality is Chinese, but I prefer to consider myself a global citizen.
I like travelling, adventures and photography. Taking photos used to be a major activity when I was travelling. Now I am in the process of balancing, as I tried to see and experience more.
I am an animal lover, pescetarian and an environmentalist. I love animals, love the nature.
Or I am just a common person like everyone else. A curious kid who is excited to explore the world. Life is short, experience and make things happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cultural exchange is definitely one of the best experiences.
I enjoy meeting people with different values and ways of living, and interested in experiencing different cultures. It's fascinating to get to know people from all over the world and to know their unique cultures.
I have been meeting human beings with pure hearts, many of whom became my good friends.
I also get to know more about myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - meditation, spirituality, death, literature, philosophy, poems, politics and law.
The Little Prince: An old lover. What is essential is invisible to the eye. It always reminds me of the philosophy and beauty of simplicity, to go back to the basics.
Stories of Sahara: the book that inspires and encourages me to go for adventures, always gives me the courage to step out my comfort zone.
Legitimacy and legality of International law: The new lover! I started to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of rational thinking and learned to see wicked problems of the world from another angle.
Movies / documentaries
Started to love documentaries more in recent years, especially after becoming addicted to diving.
Eat Pray Love: first time watched when I was 16, it motivates me to start my journey of solo travelling;
Amélie: « …if you let this chance pass, eventually, your heart will become as dry as my skeleton. »
Midnuit a Paris, To Kill a Mockingbird, Philadelphia, 12 angry men...call me by your name, la graine et le mulet etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving against strong current in north Komodo, Indonesia after the full-moon night;
Solo trekking for 3 days on Mt.hodakadake (3000m +) in Japanese Alps;
Maintaining meditation and self-observation since Sep 2023;
3-year body building training with strict meal plans.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking breakfast, some humor, stories.
Meditation, calmness, and attentive listening.
Would like to learn more about different cultures here, and Spanish!
