Hey everybody,
I would like to consider myself openminded, friendly and loves to talk to people! On the other hand, I'm a pretty organized person. Therefore, there will be no mess left behind me.

I'm from China and went to Canada for my master of food science degree. After the program, I worked as a Quality Assurance Technican in a meat processing company for 3 years. Recently I quite my job and start my jorney in Latin America. I was volunteering in a Marine mammel rescue center in Lima until August. And now I'm traveling cross South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing 3 years ago, hoping one day I can travel the world and meet lots of new people. And now, here I am. Quit my job and starting my own journey. I love this approach to travelling by living with local people and getting some inside knowledge. It is something special that can't be learnt from a guidebook or a tour group but through connecting experiences and people!

Well more importantly, I am hoping to be able to save up on some accommodation expenses. Use it as a catalyst to meet local people from the countries I am hoping to travel to and possibly share my experiences and leave a little mark of me in the countries I might visit.

Interests

I love sport a lot, soccer, running, swimming also outdoor activities like hiking, scuba diving and snowboarding!!! Also, I love to watching sports.

Cooking is one of my biggest interests as well. I love making tastey healthy food. Good food is part and parcel of my life. I like visiting different places and trying out their local, cheap food as I believe food reflects the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movie. Different kinds of movie is good for different mood.XD So I don't have a huge opinion on what movies I enjoy. But I do like most of the movie that Tom Hanks stared.;) Harry Potter is one of my favourite too.

I like most types of music, except for heavy metal.Any music that tells story is good music to me. After I move to Canada, I start to felt in love with country music.

Books: Science Fiction, Magic Noval and ~~~Japanese Comic ! (a good way to relex ;) )

Went to the summit of Huayna Potosi (6088m above sea level) with no previsou experience.

I can be your local guide when you come to visit Vancouver and Guangzhou.

I can teach you Cantonese and mandarin.

I can cook some simple chinese food for you. :) Cooking and preparing the meal together and then sitting down to good food and good conversation is the perfect way to get to know people and spend time together.

I love to make more local friends throughout my trips and share everything I know. Experiencing life as a local to the countries I am visiting and learn about the day-to-day living is alway lovely.
