About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Every encounter is an opportunity to make someone smile
ABOUT ME
I live on a steady diet of baseball, music and writing. Baseball on the radio taught me how to speak English when I came to Canada, music has come into me and out of me for almost as long, and I release the day's worries through writing.
My occupation involves managing the behind-the-scenes of a small charity that offers free programs to the community. The programs focus on various modalities that promote optimum mental, physical and emotional health, including dance, yoga, meditation, music, and martial arts.
I keep life worth living by constantly living new and frightening experiences, by spending time with quality people, and by constantly improving any skills I may possess.
English is currently the only language I speak fluently; I used to have that ability with both Mandarin and French, and I'm working to get back to that point. If you speak either of those, let's talk and practice!
You can impress me with data, flatter me by laughing at my bad puns, and charm me with any artistic talent. Just don't take me too seriously*.
*Seriously, don't.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason. More often than not, it's up to you to create that reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I don't have a couch to offer, I bring my sense of humour, life experiences and music to those who will listen, and offer an eager ear to those willing to share theirs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I CS'd across the states in September 2013 with my friend Connor. The experience was fantastic. I'm trying to involve myself in as many local CS events now as possible.
