ABOUT ME

Xiaoming comes from Chengdu in Sichuan province. If you love hot spicy food probably you have heard about it :) She studied nursing but became an accountant after graduation. Yadong stays in the eastern part of China most of the time. We backpacked for more than 2 years in more than 10 countries. Now we move to Oakton, Virginia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We began using couch surfing after we started traveling. Now we settle down and would like to be host

We cook Chinese food most of the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once in Tanzania and twice in Jordan, then almost nonstop for half a year in Australia and New Zealand. In Namibia and South Africa we also did something similar to CS all the way.

Now we would like to learn to a host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: all the good ones, esp the good scifi movies.
Music: we grew up with very different music so we are not familiar with most of the rock bands/stars. Yadong likes Vangelis and some world music. Xiaoming likes the softer and more emotional music.

Half Marathon along the dead sea
Walking safari in Mufuwe in Zambia
Couchsurfing and Hitchhiking almost all the way in Namibia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand
