About Me

I am currently in Germany for a year, avoiding real, grown-up life as I travel, learn German, and make friends from all over the world. Anything that has to with social justice is my passion, and if you add chocolate or ice cream to that, then that pretty much sums up my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from diverse backgrounds from which I can learn and maybe see the world with new eyes and/or to meet locals that can show the genuine side of the cities I want to get to know-
anything from food, to music, to bars and traditions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hopscotch (Rayuela) by Julio Cortazar is my favorite book, a novel that just blows your mind away! It is the type of book that as you're reading, you find yourself forced to put the book down and take a breath before you continue. It is that good. In terms of music, I like most types and am always eager to experience new rhythms to which I can dance! Scary movies scare me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Missed a flight for the first time the day I obnoxiously claimed that I had never missed a flight.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is always the greatest pleasure for me to meet people that are interested in learning about Paraguay and our culture. Guaraní, tereré, chipa and mbeju, folklore, the chaco...so many things to share! And learning about how unique other cultures are is one of the greatest gifts from traveling for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Traditional Paraguayan food, tereré or mate, a lot of spanish music, and even more laughter!

At the moment, I am living with a host family in Augsburg so I can't host. But will be heading back to Paraguay in July and excited to share my home with those that open the doors of their home for me :)
