Hello, I'm Ximena, a 27-year-old Ecuadorian. I've been working as a veterinarian for 4 years, but now I'm on a journey to explore my passion for discovering the world. I've paused my professional life to seek new perspectives and personal growth. I firmly believe in the necessity of stepping out of one's comfort zone to truly find oneself. One Amazing Thing I've Done: One of the most incredible experiences I've had was walking the Camino de Santiago. I walked for 10 days from Portugal to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. It was my first solo trip, initially planned with my sister but circumstances led me to go alone. I never imagined I'd have the courage to embark on such a journey solo. While it was challenging at first, I fell in love with the experience. I made great friends, had a lot of fun, and the long walks gave me time to reflect. Finally reaching Santiago de Compostela on foot from such a distance felt absolutely amazing.

As a veterinarian specializing in dogs and cats, I have a deep connection with animals and derive great satisfaction from caring for them. I'm skilled at nurturing their well-being and enjoy spending time with them.

In terms of sports, I'm passionate about adventure sports. Coming from the Andes Mountains in Ecuador, I've explored both low and mid-mountain terrains, engaging in activities like trekking, camping, and even rock climbing. These experiences invigorate me and fill me with life.

Dancing is another passion of mine, ranging from contemporary dance to tropical rhythms like salsa and bachata. I find joy in movement and expression through dance.

I have a keen interest in learning about other cultures and languages, particularly English, which has opened doors to various opportunities for me. I love immersing myself in local traditions, especially when it comes to trying authentic cuisine and feeling like a part of the culture.
