About Me
Poor broke student who is always on the lookout for the next adventure! ;)
I went on a semi-solo trip to Europe in the summer of 2016 and travelled across Europe and met many like-minded travelers along the way - it was the most wonderful experience! Since my return (to Singapore), I've been looking out for the next great adventure!
Proud to say that in this coming May, I'll be embarking on my solo grad trip to China. ^^
It's a pity that I'm unable to host any guests in my home here in Singapore, but I'll be more than willing to provide any recommendations if needed! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I'm still schooling, it's difficult to find sufficient funds to fund my ever-wanderlusting heart. Couchsurfing would give me the chance to save so much on accommodation expenses! Also, couchsurfing will give me the best opportunity to interact with the locals and gain a greater understanding on the quirks and culture of each place.
Interests
Cheerleading, reading, pigging out on delicious food, shopping, exchanging opinions on political/social/historical issues
I started cheerleading when I first entered university few years ago and it was one of the best choices I made ever. It's a tough sport, and as with all competitive sports, it took up so much of my time - and of course my studies suffered the brunt of it all. Most of my friends would think of me more as a Cheer major than a History major!
When I'm not cheerleading, you'd probably find me buried in books that'd feed my curiosity about life and the likes. I particularly enjoy reading books by Haruki Murakami - he's the best at depicting emotions that I can never quite eloquently translate into words. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Kodaline, Ed Sheeran, The Civil Wars
I listen to a wide variety of music ranging from classical and indie rock and I've recently developed a strong liking towards deep house music too!
My favourite movies include movies produced from Ghibli Studios, and the Before Sunrise series :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydived from 15,000ft in the suburbs of Prague!
Contrary to my expectations - the moment after we jumped off the plane, all I felt was a sense of peace and tranquility overwhelming me. It's the strangest feeling and I loved it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Willing to teach simple mandarin, english; learn about special quirks and slangs of each city (singlish is rly cool)!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My arduous yet extremely fulfilling and exhilarating cheerleading journey and videos, my love for food and music!
