ABOUT ME

I am interested in everything. I read a lot. I laugh a lot. I travel when I can. I am an active traveler and will gladly spend an entire day walking/hiking on foot to experience a new place. I tend to avoid touristy areas preferring neighborhoods and local culture.

I spend my time:
Hacking as a member of OmniCorp Detroit (hacking referring to the modification/creation of everything computerized, electronic, mechanical, audio, visual, edible, biological, ...).
Recently decided to start working on an art degree!
Working as a Senior Systems Software Engineer specializing in research applications.

PHILOSOPHY

I do my best to understand the world through others life experiences. Context is everything. What is ugly and wrong to one is beautiful and the way it should be to another. I have already lived a full life and I am working to continue that, but I am also working to make the lives of those around me better.

I have surfed, and hosted! Good times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed too many couches to recall. Some favorite experiences I have had with hosts include eating fresh home made egg noodles in Katzelsdorf Austria on New Years Day; paddling a fibreglass tub across the New Inlet Bay, Humarock, MA; fresh bread, and acorns in an abandoned home in the New Orleans French Quarter; and visiting sake bars in New York City. The list goes on and on.

I am interested in everything. And if not in a thing itself, then in its context and what it is that makes it interesting to others.
