I grew up in Shenzhen, China (south, in the Canton province) but I left for college in the U.S. at 18. I lived in LA area for 2 years and then I went to Paris for a study abroad program practicing my French. Now I am on my second semester of Junior Year in London studying film. It has been a great journey in Europe.

I love traveling around. Love music, art, film, photography, dance, adventures. Love languages and foreign cultures.

Interests

Photography is something that I always love. I do both digital and film photography. I love visiting museums and photography galleries specially installations and contemporary art.

Food! I'd love to taste different cuisine so one of my biggest interest when traveling is to find the best restaurants in town and try the local food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music genres: pop, hip-pop, country, jazz, latin, electronic, alternative, Indie, etc. Some of my favorite artist as for now: Kendrick Lamar, the Neighborhood, the Weekend, Mø, Cage the Elephant, Lorde, Milky Chance, etc.

Movies: I've always enjoyed French new wave films (Godard!) and European Cinema and of course Asian Cinema. Not so much into Hollywood blockbusters. Look up to Wong Kar Wai and Ang Lee . Try not to ask me what my favorite films...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Chinese ;) and maybe cook some REAL Chinese food for you. I will share with you my travel experience and anything you want to know about China or... living in the US, California.
