Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Few years ago I took part in a cultural exchange program for students Work & Travel USA. During 4 months that I've lived in this country I've done many and many amazing things, got new friends from all over the world, totally believed in myself and found out how things are getting done.

But the most amazing thing among the others was my journey from one coast of America to another. Me, two more guys and one girl, first we were just joking about such kind of trip. Then jokes slightly escalated into a serious discussion and then into a concrete decision to make it. We told our employer about the idea and asked for 10 days off in a row, to which he replied that we are crazy, if we want to do it in such a short term, but then actually blessed and let us go.

So we took a one way ticket from Reno to New-York, bought there a 15 years old Dodge Caravan for $1500 and began our journey. We've been to Chicago, Kansas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San-Francisco, several national parks(Zion, Grand Canyon, Yosemite) and many small cities and villages in 13 states of America. It was an amazing experience of seeing lots of beautiful things every day, sharing it with people that you can call friends for sure and constantly feeling free for real.

In such trips you learn to overcome any problems, learn, that sometimes money mean nothing, whether you have it or not, learn, that you actually need not that much to be happy and begin to appreciate life in all its forms. Such trips can change your life and this one has definetely changed mine.

I have a massive travelling experience, so can share lots of stunning stories which I learned or experienced during my trips. I also enjoy any kind of cultural exchange because that's, in my opinion, what travelling is made for, so you can expect some small gifts or souvenirs from my country:)
I'm also pretty good at cooking, so if you let me into your kitchen I may keep you well fed:)
