ABOUT ME
Hiya! This is me (the short story): I am a young lady, music lover, bookworm, and tea-enthusiast. I am an introvert, which might be sort of a challenge when travelling, but I do like to meet new people and get to know the secrets of the country and city- it's just that I'm not vocal about it.
I have an ever growing desire to see the corners of the world, learn languages -and plant a tree as I go. am very aware of the environment, and try to travel as green as I can. This is one of the reasons why I love to travel by train. However, I do dream about tropical islands, so greentravel tips to island is rewared with a big "thank you"!
One of my main ambitions in this life, is to leave this place in a better condition then it was when I came here. if I'm lucky, I might uncover the location of Atlantis...
Oh, and I don't live in Oslo, by the way, approx 30 min away by train. A small, but quite nice in the summer town of Moss. However, I can meet up in Oslo, since I'm there quite frequently.
PHILOSOPHY
"It don't mean a thing (if it ain't got that swing)"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I see this community as a perfect way to exchange culture, lifestories and view of the world we live in. I share gladly!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm fairly new (that is to say, I have been a member for a little while, but not surfed as much yet, and I cannot host at the moment). However, I have met some great people and I'm looking forward meeting more fantastic people as I travel or meet other travellers.
Interests
I am passionate about music-although, I cannot play a single chord... While I travel, I always hope to catch a concert or a festival. Also, I like books, especially russian literature. Not to mention; environmental questions, animalwelfare, buddhism, culture and people.

Music, Movies, and Books
To list movies would take a while, so I'll list some directors, and you'll get the point; Tarantino, Lynch, Jeunet & Carlo, Cohen brothers, Godard, Renoir, Kubrick..
I listen mostly to rock music (Metallica, Nirvana, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Govn't Mule, R.E.M), with a little bit of popish things in between (Madonna, Tom Waits)
I enjoy getting into a good book, and especially history or society related novels. And, of course, traveldescriptions (I do read them cover to cover). One of my favourites is russian novels, and then you cannot get away from the neverending discussion; Tolstoj versus Dostojevskij. But what about Leskov? I think he's underrated..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I see and experience amazing things everyday- just by living and breathing.
But things that has been a changemaker for me as a person- so far- have been turning to veganism and buddhism. Living in the US as an exchange student when I was 17. Couchsurfing in Poland for the first time.
