My name is Joaquim, I'm 24 years old and I live in a little beautiful nation without state called Galiza (north of Portugal, north-west of Spain). I want to travel all around the world to discover new cultures and ways of life, so here I am. I love all kind of animals, so I became vegan few years ago. I speak fluently four languages (Galician, Portuguese, Spanish and English) and I am learning a couple more.

I joined Couchsurfing because it's a good way to be inmersed into the culture of the destination country. I am very shy, but my desire to travel and live new experiences is bigger than my fears.

I listen to any kind of music. My favorite styles are rock, punk and rap.
In cinema, I am very interested in the Nouvelle Vague. My favourite directors are Jean-Luc Godard, Bernardo Bertolucci, Aki Kaurismäki, Roman Polanski and Ken Loach.
I love literature and my favourite book is "O livro do desassossego" by Fernando Pessoa. It's just perfect.
