About Me
Hey, my name is Xochiquetzal, I know is a little difficult so you can call me "Xochi" /Sochi/. ☺️
Well, I'm from Mexico city but four years ago I left my country to travel.
I was travelling around Asia for one year and now I'm living in Catalonia until decide take my backpack again.
I'm content manager and organizer of the Video Art Game festival, the first artistic and cultural event in Spain about videogames.
I really enjoy travelling and the best of my travels have been the people that I met, that's one of the reasons 'cause I use CS.
My talent? Have a big smile.😁
And please, I'm not looking for a love affair guys, this is Couchsurfing not Tinder, so come on! I like meeting nice people not stalkers.
One year ago I gave a TEDx Talk about how to be less tourist and more traveler. You can watch it here. https://youtu.be/2FGZTR7qKk0
P.S: I really like the coffee but when I drink it , I'm like a chipmonk so pleased for you security don't offer it me. 😥
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting people in their underground and learn together about our cultures. Also in Mexico we have a tipical phrase "Mi casa es tu casa" it's mean my home is your home and we always have space for you. And it's true, sometimes people don't have enough money to pay a hotel or hostel...so why not help them? It's an opportunity to make friends.
