About Me

CURRENT MISSION

not running over any squirrels when I bike to my 8am classes

ABOUT ME

Half Greek Austrian weirdo who's on her mission to conquer the world (and on the way get a university degree in biomedical science).Yes, half Greek - which many people don't believe me at once since I havea) no "funny, unpronounceable" family nameand b) blue eyes and (almost) blond hair.Sometimes really talkative, at other times rather quiet and prefer to just listen, but generally I always enjoy a good conversation (no matter if it is a philosophical discussion about life or an argument about the importance of cats with bread and butter tied to their backs in gravitational research).Unless I'm drunk I'm very independent (if you have no time to hang out, show me around etc. no problem!)I don't like raw carrots, I'm not particularly ambitious, I love spontaneity, rain makes me happy*) **), hm, I'm afraid of ice (not a good thing when you live in Austria), when I'm pissed off because of sth/someone I get grumpy like an old Viennese person (don't worry, doesn't happen often), I tend to not take things very seriously and sometimes I can even manage to be a bit funny....well, I think once you get to know me, I'm not all that bad.... :)At the moment I live in California, in a beautiful little town called Davis. I'm on an exchange year, so I'll return to rainy London next September, unless I end up somewhere else again....lalala, life is unpredictable.*) eherm, yeah, I wrote the "rain"-statement when I was in Greece. After almost 6 months in London I've changed my mind. Rain sucks -.-**) I must add: even now that I life in California in a town with over 300 sunny days per year, I still think rain can be kind of annoying. hm. maybe I should remove that statement from above....

PHILOSOPHY

no boarders - panta rhei

and:

laugh a lot, it's healthy.

Music, Movies, and Books

uhhhhhhh..... I'll leave that for another day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met many many different people, all interesting in their own way, listened to their stories, and shared my time with them. I think that's quite amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? Hm...I guess I could teach you some more or less useful phrases in German and Greek, or show you some really funny improv-theatre games, or even some basic Capoeira movements. I also have a great recipe for chocolate pudding (with REAL chocolate, not that crappy powder-thing you get at tesco), which I am willing to share if you are nice to me..

Learn... Since I don't have any special talent, I am more than open to learn from people who do have one and who want to share their skills and knowledge. Whether that is in dancing, cooking, singing, thinking, feeling, etc...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, United States
