About Me

ABOUT ME

I studied guitar and (experimental) composition in the Gent Conservatory. Now i'm working in the Logos Foundation, a center for experimental music , where i make music with and write software for musical robots and some other high-tech stuff.

As a musician, i play abroad quite often, but seldomly have much time to see the places i come or to meet the locals, so i would like to travel a bit more just for the sake of traveling as well as meet other travellers comming to Gent.

In my free time i like to hang out with my friends, go to concerts and parties, but i'm also involved in some political/ecological/social/... projects.

PHILOSOPHY

my thoughts are usually way too chaotic to put them it in a short and coherent description, but we can talk about it when we meet :)

movies:
I'm not that much of a movie fan, but i like movies with a special twist like the ones of David Lynch or Peter Greenaway, .
I also like old abstract and/or surrealist shortfilms like the ones by Oskar Fischinger, Man Ray, The Whitney brothers, ...

books
used to read a book a day in average as a teenager. by now i have less time for it..
books i have been reading recently:
'Electronic Civil Disobedience' by Critical Art Ensemble - 'Theory and Techniques of Electronic Music' by Miller Puckete - 'The Society of the Spectacle' by Guy Debord - 'The Temporary Autonomous Zone, Ontological Anarchy, Poetic Terrorism' by Hakim Bey - 'Le droit à la paresse' by Paul Lafargue
