Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just gotten back from the most amazing summer ever and couch surfed all around the north east USA and had amazing experiences couchsurfing. Now i'm back home i'm ready and can't wait to host some couch surfers in Muenster.... :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a road trip on Route 66 from Chicago, Illinois all the way to LA, California in Summer 2009. That was definitely the most amazing experience I have had travelling. Our aim was to try and do the whole road trip without giving any money to "the man" (all the big corporate business chains in America) and try and get by just by using the services of small individual business. Which was actually a lot harder then you would think.......
It was so amazing to see the difference between Small Town USA compared to the big cities such as New York and LA that everybody gnerally associates the US with. Travellers are treated treated some what like celebrities in some of the small towns!
