ABOUT ME

We are a fun-loving, very curious, multicultural couple (French-Canadian and Bengali-Canadian).

My husband Rokon is a laid-back athlete who teaches gymnastics to teenagers and then works the night shift as a security guard so he can go discover the world. I am a linguists by training who works in mission critical engineering for a large telecom co. .... And I'm still trying to figure out how that happened!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's not where you're at, but who you're with that matters. There are so many amazing people out there, we hope to meet as many as we can in this lifetime. Health issues have kept me home bound for the past couple of years, but I'm ready now to get back on the road and continue the adventure!

Our first CS experience was hanging out with Csers in Doha over a 4-hour layover, taking a drive around town and dinner in the souk. We felt like we were meeting long lost friends, and were hooked.

Interests

We love to learn new things, share a cup of tea and talk about anything from underwater sea life to astronomy! We love to taste new food (the hotter the better!), run around the city or forest, and then chill out in the shade.
