Hello! I'm Sabrina, an easygoing and adventurous girl from China. I have done a one-year working holiday in Australia, and am now doing my master's degree in Sweden and taking the opportunity to explore Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and travelling the local way.

When I was in Australia, I was extremely lucky to live in a lovely shared house. There were always around ten other backpackers, students and locals at a time. I fell in love with the place for all the positive interactions with people from diverse backgrounds - we shared stories, had fun together, and helped each other get through the hardships in our travels and lives. Since then, I have always wanted to travel in a more personal approach. I want to get to know locals and other travellers instead of just staying in hotels and purely sightseeing. That is why I choose to give Couchsurfing a try.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like all sorts of music but my favourites are classical music and rock music! I especially enjoy Chopin and Led Zeppelin recently.
Movies: Interstellar, nature documentaries, and independent movies.
Books: I like books of different genres but right now on top of my mind I can think of Harry Potter :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Australia on my own for a working holiday when I was 19. I did all sorts of jobs to support myself while travelling, from gardening, property maintenance, to tractor driving and web design.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning languages! Somehow I'm especially interested in pronouncing everything the same way as the locals. I'd also love to share stories languages in return!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will not take your hospitality for granted! With my diverse work experience, including cleaning, property maintenance, and weeding, I can give you a hand if you need it. I can also teach basic Chinese or some handcrafts if you are interested :D
