ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded, easy-going, and uncomplicated person, interested in what life has to offer. Currently on my research fellowship at Free University in Berlin. Before this I studied History/Politics during college. I grew up in Shanghai China, and have travelled a bit in US and Europe.

Read a good book, untangle twist of thoughts, struggle with language learning, spend time with serious and fun-loving people, movie watching/concert going/museum visiting, be grateful, humble and be helpful.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like rock and classical music, and remain open to what others introduce me to.
East-Central European cinema attracts me like no other. Ingmar Bergman, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Akira Kurosawa are my all time favorite.
Books: Odyssey, the Moon and Sixpence, George Orwell, Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, Chinese essayist Lu Xun and poet Gu Chen, Polish/Czech literature, German philosophy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to Prague as an exchange student at the age of 20. In retrospect it's a life-changing experience to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a bit mandarin Chinese if you are interested. I can share studying/living abroad experience, and basically any topics one should openly talk and critically reflect about.
