ABOUT ME

I make documentary films and practice Zen meditation. I am also in the midst of my world tour (Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America).

I am a hippie at heart, though you wouldn't know just by looking at me cuz I also have a pretty good fashion sense ;) I love nature, the great outdoors, animals, hiking, camping...but am also a city girl and can definitely get my party on from time to time.

PHILOSOPHY

My core motivation as a documentary filmmaker is to give a voice to those who otherwise would not be heard. I also try to practice living in the moment as much as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined this network this past year, and so far have not been able to offer my couch, but I have many friends who have extolled its great virtues, so I'd love to get involved in the community and hopefully give back to other wandering souls once I'm back from my trip.

I stayed in a Zen monastery in Taiwan in 2005 for 5 weeks. Best time of my life.
