Born in Zhanjiang, a small coastal city in Southern China. Then went for study and work in Guangzhou for 13 years. Recently moved back to my hometown.
I haven't traveled abroad for quite some time, my last trip abroad was to Australia to attend the IST course and meditation retreat held by Clairvision School in 2018. It was life-changing, the memories still vivid in heart, turning into a source from which I can draw strength and love from.
I work as a university lecturer, teaching English majors. But my interests and passion lie in the spiritual field. I have taken quite some workshops, training, and self-study, and have been lucky enough to work as part-time translator in this field.
I create this account on Couchsurfing for my upcoming trip to Greece this July-August.
Haven't made up any detailed iternary and travel plan for my stay there yet. But would like to make it a sacred trip, opening to new experiences and handing over to the Divine to see what will show up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an interesting platform and offers very unique opportunity to stay with local hosts. Cannot think of a better way to explore a place in depth and really get to feel into a city.
And I am open to new experiences, especially for the upcoming trip to Greece, I would love to allow things to be arranged for by the Divine a bit and see where it leads me. Having unplanned for experiences is indeed part of the trip, and it is this 'free flow' with unexpected, un-predefined expectations and experiences that makes the journey special and meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cannot really pin down the favourite.
It is interesting how, back when I was younger, I would have the answers to the 'favourite' questions. But right now as I am trying to search for the answers to put down here, I realize that I can have appreciation for many, various and varied types of music, movies and books. I can tell many movies and books I like. But favourite? Nope.
Maybe as one grows older, the ability to appreciate the beauty and genius in different things also grows. The palette becomes bigger to hold more shades and hues of different colors.

But I also notice that something has remained the same. Maybe that's the true colour of one's soul.
I discover that deep down, I have always been fascinated by beautifully written, poetic language, which conveys and expresses the wit and wisdom of life in a way that inspires the hearts. For example, I am particularly fond of the writing by Gibran Kahlil Gibran.
