I´m a very calm person who doesn't enjoy going out much... Maybe to a cafe or pub for a beer, but that "nightclub-thing" doesn´t interest me at all! I prefer going to bed early and waking up without a hang-over. I´m probably getting too old...

I feel like a quite shy and not very self confident person, but I don't think other people would describe me like that. People very often say "You, shy/not self confident!?" as I usually talk too much/do so many things other wouldn't dare (they say)... I don’t know why I still think of myself as shy as it's probably not true.
E.g. I travelled round the world on my own for eight months (2007-2008), and I've also made other solo-trips (Mexico, Spain, roadtrips here in Sweden/Norway, and Belgium) which makes people think of me as brave/possessing other such strong qualities...
Anyhow - after 19(!) years of bus driving I'm definitely used to talking to all (or at least most) kinds of people.
When not working, I spend most of my time at home or in the forest.
Usually, after work, I feel like I've met enough people at work already and mostly prefer just taking it easy at home or maybe go for a jog or walk, or if the Swedish weather permits sitting in my "patio" with my nice neighbours.

So - I like being at home, walking in the forest, photography, kayaking, internet, travelling, languages, geocaching, zzzzleeeeping and some other things.
Partying is not for me - having a coffee/beer, sitting in a park or a walk in nature is much more in my taste! And of course visiting weird and/or abandoned places.
I'm trying to become more fit, and I'm currently forcing myself to go for a jog every now and then, as mentioned.

I ADORE cats and other animals, and because of that I try not to eat anything that comes from animals (vegan). I still eat some dairy products but I'm working on reducing it as much as possible.

I'm single, and live in a small flat (just one room). I've got a cat named Ugglan ("The Owl"). I don't smoke (well, to be honest, it might happen once or twice a year).

I love exploring old and/or abandoned places/buildings, so called urban exploration. If you know any abandoned industries or houses - please take me there! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far... :-( As I feel my self confidence is a bit low sometimes, it takes some courage to contact/meet new people even though I really want to! I often worry about not being good/interesting/whatever enough which makes it hard to really gather mental strength to actually make contact with people... :-(

Interesses

Photography, nature, hiking, cats, urban exploration/urbex, geocaching, sleeping, writing, languages, travelling and more. Sometimes I paddle kayak, I've got my own.
