About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do the best.
ABOUT ME
I'm doing the medical internship in Hualien City. But currently I plan to study anthropology first after my graduation. I'm curious about and want to learn lots of things, which is one of the reasons I join this community. I want to know more about the world, no matter what. When I met Ric in USA, I read lots of his books about wood crafting, and analyze every wood products I saw.
Although I'm not very talkative and have limited traveling experience, I'm easy-going and interested to get to know people and their stories. I will try my best to be a nice host, also do my brother.
I do not smoke, without any unhealthy habits, and have a regular life. I'm sometimes a bit serous and insensitive to the fad. Some always feel strange that a young girl likes business suits and shawls. I express myself more by questions below. Well, some are really difficult to me, but I think even though I cannot provide an answer, my opinions may help you know me more.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't think too much actually. Of course I have my own values, goals, interests, but I don't think it can be called "philosophy".
I know how and prefer to take the world as it is. But that also means that it's a bit hard for me to feel something special. Although to some degree I'm an idealist, I cannot devote myself completely. I'm not adventure.
I might be quite a boring person sometimes, but I just do my best. My dad (a much more boring person) told me that " There's no thing you like to do, but only things you HAVE TO do." I don't think so, but in fact, I am influenced a lot by this attitude.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is Brahms' German Requiem, so that I don't need to pay any attention to know what is the latest fashion. Actually I know little about music.
I seldom watch movies or TV (The only channel I watch is Discovery). Instead, I prefer reading, usually learned books, and magazines of design for entertainment. But I cannot tell you which book I like most or what really impress me. Maybe it's due to my memory, but I more believe what I read has become(or modified) part of my thought, made me more mature and provided me a wider view.
Here's a book really impressed me: Imagined Communities: Reflections on the Origin and Spread of Nationalism, by Benedict Anderson. It introduced me a new field.
And my current reading is about anthropology and social theories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's pros and cons to have anything previously planned, and be too rational. Besides, I'm not really adventure. To my parents, coughsurfing is amazing enough.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can introduce some simple Chinese food or tea, and maybe medicine(?). I like social science but not good at.
I want to know every thing new to me. I like stories and studies of others. That's help me know more about "human beings" and the world.
I join the postcrossing recently, starting to collect postcards. It will be perfect that I can receive one from you, no matter when, and I will also send you back if you leave the address.
