ABOUT ME

Half of me is a blue cocoa fairy from hell wearing nothing but trouble.

The other half is a yellow sugar pumpkin, the evil kind, that hides behind your mirror to come out at night and paint a moustache on your face.

The third half is purely viking Amazon.

I'm on a never-ending quest to save grammar, planet Earth and the last surviving non-hipsters!

And meanwhile, I'm constantly wondering, whatever happened to chivalry?
Does it only exist in 80s movies?
I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me.
Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie [okay, excluding the no-shaving-attitude - I mean, what's up with all the hair, everywhere?!?]. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.

Weirdness, Adventure and Random Fun

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I have found movies I liked in every genre; not always for their story, but also for weirdness, entertainment factor or for simply being visually stunning. The best, however, are probably the ones that leave you sitting there with your mouth open wondering, "What have I just watched?".

Music: Mostly things that rock (starting from the 50s) or harder electronic beats, but depending on my mood the range can grow absurdly wide. I'm very opinionated about it and might have to scrunch up my nose just a little bit when you think any of that soulless same-sounding JustinBieberIggyAzaleaSelenaGomez shizzle in the top 10 is even remotely related to music. ^^

Books: Yepp, I like to read; usually while in some kind of mode of public transport and especially while travelling.

I managed to lick my elbow and sneeze with open eyes. ;)
Nah, but I did win a hot-air balloon ride when I was eight and broke some poor guy's hand in the middle of the crash-landing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, I'm probably not a good teacher but I'm pretty patient. So, if someone wants to learn German, has no idea about DIY (from cosmetics to furniture, I'll try it all at least once) or simply wants to learn the skill of telling the worst jokes ever, then give it a go with me! :)
