About Me

I was born in Taiwan, raised in Chiayi up till 9, then I followed my parents to live overseas. I had been to São Tomé, Nicaragua and Dominican Republic, which I spent 1, 9 and 2 month respectively. I've returned to Taiwan to attend college. I can speak Chinese (or Mandarin however they name it), English, Spanish fluently, but my Spanish is getting rusty since not many people in Taiwan speaks Spanish (and we have a very little Spanish speaking tourists). After 4 years of college life I had to serve my obligatory military service for an year, in which I was trained and become an Emergency Medical Technician (or paramedics...but in the civilian way :P). After I was [honorably, you don't say...] discharged of my service, I've return to my hometown Chiayi, currently trying to save some money so I can fulfill my next stage of plans. Chiayi is in the southern part of Taiwan, and is well known for its Ali Mountain, where you can see sunrise among the sea of clouds. If you need a place to crash, feel free to contact me.

P.S. Ali Mt is in the Chiayi County, and I'm currently living in the City, but it's only like 3 hour ride. I can provide the ride if you ask nicely :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my college Junior year, I went to a summer camp (or something like that ) for archaeology purpose, in Bulgaria. I was traveling with friends, and we planned our route to Bulgaria starting with Turkey. So that's when I joined Couchsurfing, we had a fun time staying with Kubilay çağrı Yılmaz who kindly offered his humble place for us (we were four people!) in Istanbul, which helped us saved up LOTS of money so can have fun touring the great city with less financial burden.
So I guess it's time for me to return the favor :)

Interests

I don't know what I like, really, because, to be honest, I like lots of things. How about this, I'll name you the things I don't like...the "Un-interests"... I don't like mean people, I don't like cold meal (cold pizza on the other hand, not so bad), I don't like to go clubbing... I prefer meet people on crazy occasions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Movies. Simply good movies. Horror, Action, Romance...you name it. Though lately been working hard, so no movies for me. No documentaries though. I had enough of those ><

I prefer lyric-less music. Music with lyrics is songs. I don't like songs.

Books? I prefer to watch something that moves on its on....too lately to flip some pages unless it's manga (in that case my eyes move)

Teach, Learn, Share

Chinese cuisine. I love cooking. So yeah, if you want to learn some Chinese dishes, you know you can count on me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely not my cookies... :P

Sightseeing in Chiayi, or help arrange tour to the southern part of Taiwan (Tainan, Kaohsiong, Pingtung).

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, France, Romania, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
