Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we couchsurfed many times in many places: france, morocco, switzerland, and it's always been nice. we played carrum, ate delicious spicy food, spoke strange and unknown languages, recived and gave presents, had fun fun fun.

Interests

hitch-hiking, stupid jokes about elephant seals, jacques cousteau and steve zissou, photography (lomography!), space invaders, raymond carver and joe r. lansdale, writing and reading poetry, (ultimate)frisbee, singing (or pretending to sing) songs while driving, soap bubbles, watching movies, michael ende, bruno munari, berlin, lisbon, geneva.

Music, Movies, and Books

the first few that come into my mind, totally random: giuseppe ungaretti's poems, anais nin diaries, raymond carver short stories, roald dahl's books for children, "before night falls" by reinaldo arenas and "banquiers aux pieds nus" by jean-michel servet. lots of portuguese speaking writers as well: antonio lobo antunes, josé luis peixoto, paulina chiziane, mia couto and blabla. music: everything that sounds chachacha or bunzabunza or tingalingaling. calexico, franco battiato, morr music stuff, yo la tengo, belle and sebastian, too many. movies: go watching gran torino! what are you waiting for?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

abandoned towns in the south of italy, the lake of atitlan in guatemala, just living in geneva, istanbul, hanging around and getting lost in tokyo, sleeping in a sunny park, hitch-hiking here and there, berlin, berlin, berlin.
