ABOUT ME

I love travel and tourism. I spent an academic year studying in Germany and decided that I wanted to spent the rest of my life traveling and helping others fall in love with the world as I have. After university, I spent two years working and enjoying life while living in Hawaii. Despite being an incredible place to live, work, and play, I decided I wanted to move. I left for Anchorage, Alaska and called it my home for 16 months (two summers and one winter). I am now living back in the state of Illinois, but still sort of deciding where I want to spend the next couple of years of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to enjoy my life to the fullest extent. Thus far, I think I have done a very good job.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before, yet I have met quite a few people while on the road who had. They all said what great experiences they had! I look forward to meeting more people through CouchSurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was fortunate enough to travel to Antarctica. It was amazing!! I have also been able to have many 'once in a lifetime opportunities'. I spent two years traveling abroad during university and it was all such a fantastic experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of independent traveling experience, so I could give some travel advice if they would like to go somewhere that I have ventured off to. People also think that I take beautiful photos, so I could try to teach people basic camera skills.

I would love to learn how to yodel. I have a couple yodeling CDs and every time I listen to them, I find that I have a giant smile on my face.
