COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I once hitch-hiked about 100 miles from north of Austin, Texas to San Marcos, Texas. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. This Indian student picked me up, we talked about baseball, crickett, India, Texas, school and music.
I payed it forward a couple of times, once I had my own car. I enjoyed picking up hitchikers and going out of my way to take them further to there destination.
I hosted a couple people in Tokyo. It was a great pleasure that produced life long friendships. I hosted a friend in Las Vegas too. I've never surfed, myself.
