well, in my top-list there is pop-art, post-modern (but without all this mad stuff). btw, Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt are my favourites, and Andy Warhol, of course, isn't a small potato)
Russian avant-garde looks like smth that is worth listening, but jazz (and acid) is here on the first place

Movies: Coen brothers (all films!!); Jim Jarmusch; Al. Sokurov (Molokh, Solnce); Al. Jodorowsky; Fear and loathing in las vegas; Monty Pythons

Books: O. Wilde, Stephen Fry, Umberto Eco, Michel Foucault, Dostoevsky
