ABOUT ME

I am a fun, outgoing, energetic person once you get to know me. I'm easy going and down to earth. I graduated with a bachelor's in science at Northern Illinois University in December 2011 and I currently provide allergy testing and immunotherapy at a local hospital full time. For part-time work, I practice natural hoof care in the DFW area. I will be establishing my trimming business by 2014 and this may end up being a full-time job with enough clients. I love hearing stories and meeting new people. I am always up for a good time or a relaxing night around a bonfire.

Interests

I have been riding and working with horses since I was 9. I currently have a 21-year-old blue roan mare and a 2.5-year-old BLM bay mustang. I am interested in an equine-related career, most likely natural hoof care! Being fresh out of college. I've been know to show up at a party or 2, but now that I'm done with the college experience, I need to be more adult-like. (Not a chance).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like comedies, romances, dramas, and any thing with horses in it. I enjoy any genre of music besides country and heavy metal. I read occasionally, but nothing too exciting. I'm more likely to be doing word puzzles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving a week before my 21st birthday. I jumped out of a plane at 14,000ft. I know, that's high, huh? It was the craziest thing I've ever done, but I did it and have a video to prove it :)

I LOVE horse people. Us horse people are a different breed. I also like meeting people who have experienced exotic places and have done crazy things. I love hearing stories from new people.
