About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learn. give. grow.

ABOUT ME

I studied fire protection and nuclear engineering in Washington DC, but the engineering curriculum was lacking in artistic stimulation. It's difficult to develop a holistic and compassionate approach to relating to the world unless you're open to challenging and changing yourself, and music and dance have augmented my technical and analytical understanding of the world. every moment is a meditation, every day a new opportunity to learn and to grow.

living around the world exploded my concept of what "home" meant to different people, and i hope to be able to share that with other wanderers - or at least a cup of tea and a little dance.

also, my face is fuzzy. and i play some instruments.

PHILOSOPHY

there's always room to grow.
there's always more to give.
there's always time to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i composed an ambient sound score for my friend's master's thesis in dance, then wrote three more of my own. presented original research at an international fire safety conference as an undergraduate, and made vegan banana peanut butter cookies that made the grumpiest of old men crack a smile.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you about maths and physics and shit, to count to 13 and to snap on 2 and 4; to turn out and turn up and why time goes forth invariably and why entropy and love are all that's real.

Countries I’ve Visited
