Hey there!

I'm 21 years old, and entering my fourth year at the University of Toronto, where I study commerce and other things. This summer I am travelling to Europe for my first time, all alone!

Some of the things I am most passionate about: Pop-Culture Critique, Music , Dancing, Film/TV , Philosophy of Mind, Ethics, Scientific Literacy, and the Future of Humanity.

I tend to spend my extra time watching my favorite shows (the list always changes), reading, and frequenting proper dance music clubs.

I am very open minded and love nothing more then diving into conversations and seeing where they go. I'm pretty low-key, polite, and don't like to make a scene :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing allows one to meet a nice local, and to really be immersed in the home city's culture - something that hostels can sometimes lack. I want to learn from people who are knowledgeable about their culture. Plus, what a better way to meet friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ahh so hard!

Music: The Beatles, Hip Hop from the 90's until Now, Blues, Ethereal and Ethnic House , Down-tempo, Alternative Rock - my musical interests are pretty eclectic (as long as it's good lol)

Movies: Anything directed by Denis Villeneuve, Christopher Nolan, Alejandro Inarritu, Cohen Brothers, Tarantino, or anything Visually Creative / Pulpy or thought provoking and beautiful

Books: I'm a huge sucker for old science fiction (50s-70s) and can list you loads of my favorite authors :) Also a big fan of existentialist literature, science based non-fictions, and philosophy
