Overview
About Me
I come from the south of France where I was born, Marseille. That's to say that I am a very cool, tolerant and relax person with a large sense of humor. I have nothing against the northern part of France like Paris and upward, but you know what I mean... ;)
I am looking forward to discovering all the different cultures in this world, especially those which are very far from mine. I grew up in a double culture family, french but also japanese. I think I am more french/european than asian/japanese definitely, but, when it comes to have fun and be crazy I look like those weird japanese people that nobody understand.
I like to cook for my friends, to listen to the music (especially when I am driving fast, with the volume at 80%! jk I am not driving fast but I put the volume at 75% almost everytime!), I like to practice sport even if I am quite bad at it, I like to hike, to surf, to kitesurf, to swim, to ride a bike, to play tennis (beach tennis is my favorite!), in my family we are not very good at sports we are better at music and arts, I used to play a lot of music when I was child and teenager, I played piano at a good level, japanese bamboo drums at a less good level, a bit of cello, and I sang in a classic choir. I also like to dance and to create my own choregraphy for a group.
I always wanted to have a beautiful and strong voice, and to hypnotize people with my melody like The Little Mermaid of Andersen. Unfortunately I wasn't gifted enough to become a singer so I studied economics and sociology (which was very interesting though) and now I became good enough to teach those subjects in highschool and college.
I like going to theater rather than cinema, I prefer live performance than a screen. I am a very emotional person, especially when it comes to music and theater, I feel overwhelmed. When I go for a music concert or a theater play and the actors are very good I cry, I laugh, I cry, I laugh, I cry, I laugh, (and I think also sometimes), I can't stop it and I am feeling so better after that (the catharsis works a lot for me !).
Thanks for reading me, hope it wasn't too clumsy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like romantic piano composers like Chopin, Fauré, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Debussy (is he part of the romantics ? let's say yes!).
I also like rap, french rap (for the lyrics), hip hop and pop (to dance).
My favorite books are : Journey to the End of the Night of Celine, In Search of Lost Time of Proust, Dans le café de la jeunesse perdue of Modiano.
I don't really like watching movies but I can't resist to Woody Allen's romantic comedy for the punch lines.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It is hard to say, maybe I didn't yet experience an extraordinary adventure but I think life in general, everyday life is extraordinary and incredible to some extent. It is hard to pick one moment in particular, every moment are unique and should be beloved, that's what I believe in.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach french and a little bit of the other languages I can speak but not perfectly.
I am always feeling happy and grateful of being able to learn something new.
