ABOUT ME

I am currently a full time student majoring in Economics. I have lived in the city of Los Angeles for 23 years and decided my senior year that it was time to experience something new. For the couple months that I've been here, I've come to realize that I love travelling and getting to know foreign cultures. A little about myself, I am down to earth and willing to learn and experience anything new that I haven't tried before. Being an only child I am very independent but at the same time love to make new friends. Having lived in southern California my whole life, there is a lot that I have not seen and I hope to experience as much as possible before returning home!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I am only a surfer because I do not have my own place here in Rome but once I am situated back in Southern California (San Diego to be exact) I will have the opportunity to pay it forward!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first couch-surfing experience in London with Ian and although it was only for a night I now understand the attraction it holds for travelers. Ian was friendly straight from the start and was more than willing to teach us all about East London.

Loved my second surfing experience up in Edinburgh with Malcolm. He immediately welcomed us into his home and was very helpful in providing maps & attractions to visit, as well as teaching us all about Salmon from his previous career!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oktoberfest was the experience of a lifetime for me. I enjoyed German food and beer with random people from all over the world (Italians, Australians,& Germans). The atmosphere was friendly and something I will never forget.
Having lived in the same place for my entire life, coming to Rome was definitely an eye-opening adventure. From the Spanish Steps to the amazing gelato, I feel that I will only barely scratch the surface of this wonderful city with the 4 months that I have.

Learning: I am looking for an all inclusive cultural experience wherever I am. That includes new food, beautiful destinations, foreign cultures and of course friendly people!
