About Me
Hey! I love reading, traveling, attempting to cook and meeting new people.
Although I grew up in Madrid (Spain), I moved to Vienna four years ago. I do miss the sun but, hey, I can't complain: Vienna is a beautiful city with lots of interesting things to do!
I divide my time between University (I study Social and Cultural Anthropology), spending time with friends or just reading in Cafés and my job as a librarian in one of the many public libraries of the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new here, but I've only heard good things! I think it is a great way of seeing the world from a different perspective, learning and connecting with other fellow humans.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite books are: One Hundred Years of Solitud (Gabriel García Márquez), The Heart is a Lonely Hunter (Carson McCullers), Pale Horse, Pale Rider (Katherine Anne Porter), Lolita (Vladimir Nabokov) and Blindness (Saramago). I mostly read novels, but I love Eduardo Galeano's short stories.
Movies I love: City of God, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mustang...
If you have any recommendations, please share! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Spanish, English and German, how to understand Egyptian hieroglyphics, how to make a good gazpacho
Learn: To write and read in Hebrew (only got the chance to learn to speak), play accordion, interesting things about you and your city and pretty much anything! I am a very curious person and learning new things is my passion.
Share: humor, book/movies/music reccomendations and random philosophical conversations about pretty much anything :)
