I was born and raised in Amsterdam, am currently studying Art History there. I like analogue photography, reading, cooking, listening to music and hiking in the mountains⛰️
I consider myself as openminded and curious, and getting to know new people, cultures, music, food, etc is something I enjoy a lot.

Furthermore, I'm clean, tidy, and don't take too much space :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's a great way to meet people and learn about their countries, traditions, habits and ways of living, furthermore I like to travel but don't always have the money to travel in luxury:-) It’s always something of an adventure.. Now that I have travelled a bit more myself I know how nice it is to be hosted and want to host more people myself in Amsterdam!

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I listen to a lot is Arabic music, from artists such as Hawa Dafi, TootArd, and Yasmine Hamdam, but I listen to all kinds of music. My favourite movie is City of God (Cidade de Deus), Do The Right Thing, Chicago (the musical) and, the classic, Amelie.
The beautiful book I have returned to often is My Name is Asher Lev from Chaim Potok, and I'm currently reading The Nutmeg's Curse by Amitav Ghosh.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, good food, a listening ear, my favourite music and good (and bad) dutch music. For whoever might be interested I could teach some Dutch ;-)
