ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Yael.
I was born in Beer Shevah, which is one of the biggest cities in the south of Israel. As a teenager I liked to do sport climbing, ride horses and travel. In high-school I went to the Israeli's Arts and Science Academy (IASA)in Jerusalem. I did my B.Sc in biomedical sciences at the Hebrew university in Jerusalem and I start Med school at the Technion (which is in Haifa).

I traveled a lot abroad since high-school - I'd been to Norway, China, Netherlands and last summer I did the famous 'camino de Santiago' with my friends in Spain.

I think the most exciting thing about traveling is meeting withe new people and discover new places, foods and cultures.

Interests

I love music, theater, cooking and I dance Cuban Salsa.
Travels and climbing are always welcome :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember walking on the "great wall" in China. It was amazing, challenging and most of all endless. We walked for hours and it felt like we hadn't got anywhere - miles of well behind us, and and miles in front to go.

Doing the camino de santiago in Spain last summer was also an amazing experience. We started at Leon and walked almost all the way to Santiago. During this journey I realized that sometimes the way is the important thing in life, not the destination.
