ABOUT ME

I am very friendly and open to new things. I love dancing, especially latin, swing & belly dancing. I also enjoy listening to all types of music, horse back riding, and exploring. I started couchsurfing in 2010 while studying abroad and try to do so once in a while now that I am back. I really enjoy the connections you make in staying with someone and learning about them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have moved back to NYC where cost of living is much higher so I can only host in my living room when it's not rented (aka on short notice) but am happy to show you the Cuban salsa scene!

I do not host people without references.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

PLEASE send me requests using the couchrequest button and not messages. I rarely answer messages as they are hard to keep organized.

Meaghan and I visited Dublin, Oxford, Edinburgh, Rome and Dusseldorf through couchsurfing.

My former housemate, Matthias, and I hosted people in our Cadiz apartment. Since Spain, I have surfed less but have a little in the US and South America.

Intereses

horse-back riding, dancing, ice skating, climbing up walls/mountainy things (I don't actually know how to professionally mountain climb but I enjoy my version), tree climbing, eating, traveling, trying new things, attractions, shopping, swimming, snowboarding et al.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Caving adventure in Puerto Rico. I jumped into a lake in the cave while it was pitch black. It was exhilarating.

I also walked to Chile from Argentina, camped overnight, and walked back. The views were breathtaking.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach some salsa dancing and basic bachata. I would like to learn everything (cooking, other forms of dancing, new adventure-y sporty things, songs, instruments, languages, about cultures, etc.) I hope to share my enthusiasm!
