About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a year off, but I'm finally about to achieve my 30 by 30 mission! (30 countries by age 30). I guess 31 by 31 is good too.
ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Yael.
While traveling I have learned many things. One of them is that my name is apparently really hard to pronounce... But we'll work on it!
I've lived in 7 countries, on 5 continents and there is nothing that excites me more than arriving in a new country, picking up words in a new language, and meeting new people from different cultures. It's amazing that CSing allows me to do all those things! I am a really good question-asker and I could probably sit for hours, asking you about your life - you are forewarned!
I'm now based in Washington, DC which I think is one of the coolest cities in the world.
I haven't been active on here for a while, but I'm finally doing a bit of traveling again this summer and am looking forward to getting back.
Oh, and I'm vegan, so any tips on great vegan restaurants or any interest in cooking together would be great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month living on the east coast of Mexico, patrolling the Caribbean shore on a nightly basis and protecting sea turtle eggs as their mothers lay them in front of me. Surprisingly, turtles are not as slow as cartoons portray them to be, which can work against you when trying to hold one down...
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're nice, I can teach you how to give an unforgettable head massage. And once I do, you're welcome to practice it on me anytime.
