Hey there, I'm Yağmur. I am studying computer engineering in ODTÜ (Middle East Technical University-METU), Ankara, Turkey. Let me introduce myself further.
Although I may seem quiet and shy at the first sight, I am kind of a talkative person once you get to know me. I most certainly can chat about anything without getting bored once I get to know you. I love discovering different viewpoints about things I think I know.
My hobbies include listening to music (not casually, kind of active listening, I think that good music deserves attention), mountain biking, and of course, messing with anything that can be considered as a computer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, I was not a travelling person, but recently I thought some change in my life might be good. Meeting new people around the world seemed like a good idea, so I'm here now!

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not really like classifying things as my favorites, but here are some of the things I like:
Music: Apart from some classical music and some various jazz, a few (there are a lot that I can not fit here) artists that stand out include John Coltrane, Charles Mingus... (especially Mingus' "The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" has the capability of making me climb onto walls-just kidding). I also love Chopin when I want to relax a bit. I also like classical rock, progressive rock, blues and metal, although I listened more of them a few years ago. Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd are among my favorites that I immediately remembered. It seems that I can talk about this all day, better cut it short!
